Dunnes Stores Workers To Strike Against ‘Precarious’ Working Conditions

Dunnes Stores workers will go on strike Thursday 2nd April after their employer ‘refused to enter negotiations with them through their union’.

The planned industrial action is over issues such as secure working hours and earnings, job security, fair pay and the right to trade union representation’.

Workers are seeking support from the public for their action and asking people to not pass the picket.  Mandate trade union and supporters have been campaigning across the country building support.

“We shouldn’t have to go on strike just to get our employer to listen to us and give us secure jobs with secure hours and earnings. We’re asking everyone to give us your support and please don’t pass the picket.”
